Move

Sometimes your life goes lurching forward
at an intense speed and you’re left befuddled,
wondering what just happened and just how you got there.
Nothing happens slowly in NYC.
How did I forget that?

Spontaneous decisions are reckless
and risky
and can be completely irresponsible,
but the Holy Spirit doesn’t play by the rules of the logical mind.
He likes to play the game of extreme faith,
the game that tolerates nothing but big leaps

…blindfolded.

Julia, it's Joey Moore- Jamie's little sister, from camp :) I just stumbled onto your blog and read through pretty much all of your posts... I just wanted to say that I love your writing style. I felt like I was right there in New York with you, living those same experiences. So thank you for writing.. and keep it up!
I'm so glad you're doing well- praise the Lord for His mercies, even in New York :)
