the other night Angela and I were walking down a street in brooklyn, headed for an art venue where there was supposed to be free ice sculpting and fire spinning lessons

a woman yelled to us from across the street in the quintessential raspy brooklyn accent

"have fun tonight ladies! enjoy your life!"

it was just another one of those avant-garde moments that has become so commonplace that i forget to remember them

but, this one's worth trying
